- The Life Histories, Health and HIV/AIDS Data Laboratory at the McGill Department of Sociology is part of the Mcgill Institute of Health and Social Policy. The Data Center aims to establish a forum that will allow people of different professional backgrounds to exchange ideas (from the very simple ones to the very technical) on matters related to the understanding of the social, economic and demographic context contributing to the health and well-being of individuals in low-income countries. We particularly encourage and give priority to contributions that give insights on the accessibility and availability of longitudinal data about the health and well-being of youth in developing countries.
